In compliance to the call of AIRF for nation-wide hunger strike to press upon the Railway Ministry to resolve the long pending demands, a huge number of OBs, front line activists and members of NRMU (CR/KR) including numerous women and youth workers have sat on the day long hunger strike under the leadership of General Secretary Com.Venu P Nair today on 12.10.2022.
Hundreds of staff members have extended their strong solidarity to the program by attending the venues of protest programs at various locations across all divisions of Central Railway. Apart from that Com.Venu P Nair who inspired the cadre with his attendance at various locations in Mumbai, addressed the participants, many HQ and Divisional OBs were also engaged to join the movement and addressed the workers.
Thus this mass movement was a stupendous success in Central Railway in terms of the unity, spirit and enthusiasm shown by the workers to raise their voice against the detrimental policies that adversely affecting the railway workforce.
