General Secretary Com. Venu P. Nair was on visit to Daund on 25.09.2021. He was given a rousing welcome at Daund Station by 100 active workers alongwith DS/SUR & DP/SUR all in red attire. A massive rally from Daund Station to venue organized in the leadership of GS. Com. Venu P. Nair.
At 8.00 am Gate Meeting was held in the premises of CPWI Daund. The meeting was addressed by GS Com. Venu P. Nair. In his brief speech GS spoke about the Governments Anti Labour, Farmer Policies, Privatization and its effect on Railway employees and General Public. He appealed all to be united under one banner of NRMU.
From 11.30 am to 14.oo pm DCM of Solapur Division was held. The main attraction of the DCM was Com. Venu P. Nair, GS, who was given a warm welcome with garlanding and memento by DS/SUR. All the DC members were present in the meeting. DS/SUR read his report, which was placed for deliberation by the house. Com. Venu P. Nair while addressing the DCM said that we have to be united to fight against the Governments on slaught against labour movement. We have to get ready for the coming election of the recognisation of the Union. We must win the thumping majority to fulfill the dream of Late Com. P.R. Menon, GS/NRMU of ” One Industry One Union”.
Thereafter at 15.00 hrs. Com. Venu P. Nair, GS, attended the Retirement function of Loco Pilot (mail)/ Chairman LTRS Branch Com. Sunil Patan. GS given him the beast wishes for his healthy and happy retirement life.
