As per the instruction of GS/NRMU (CR/KR) Com. Venu P Nair. amidst the threat of COVID-19 pandemic all the three branches i.e. Kalyan Main Line, Electric Shed and Diesel Loco Shed of Kalyan Division conducted their Annual General Meeting adhering to the COVID guidelins on 19.06.2021.
Com. Venu P Nair, GS as a Chief Guest was given a rousing welcome by bouquet and shawl. Two minutes silence was observed for departed soul. The meeting was attended by all OBs of three kalyan based branches and active workers. Many young lady comrades also present.
General Secretary in his speech explained in details the current situation prevailing in the country in general and specifically in the Indian Railways. He said that in spite of the dangerous situation of the COVID-19, pandemic, how the railway staff have worked hard and have achieved record loading, which is mentioned by MR himself. He also spoke about the NRMU’s social activities during this pandemic period. He launched a scatting attack on the present policies of the Govt. He explained in details the dangerous consequences of the decision of privatization, which is pursuing even after stiff opposition by the Unions/AIRF. He urged everyone to united under one banner of NRMU.
