Snaps of the visit of NRMU (CR/KR) delegation led by General Secretary Com.Venu P Nair to the recent train accident spot at Bahanaga Bazar Station n Balasore, Orissa on 6.6.23 at 19.00 hrs. Welcomed warmly by Comrades from SERMU , GS had interaction with many employees of Bahanagar Bazar Station where the accident happened and conveyed deep condolence to the died victims of the accident, extended appreciation to the workers whose dedicated efforts enabled speedy restoration of traffic on the section and their help to save lives of hundreds of passengers of the affected train..
2nd day’s mission started in d morning today on 7.6.23 at Balasore Satation by the NRMU (CR/KR) delegation led by General Secretary Com. venu P Nair. Met on duty SMs, Pointmen, Commercial & A/c staff engaged at the help desk assisting the relatives of accident victims, met the Loco Pilot & ALP of Coromondal Exp. that started its first journey today after restoration of traffic, had a visit to the Crew lobby/Running room met Running staff and other officials and complimented all of them for their undying spirit and zeal that overcomed the traumatic situation created by the disastrous incident.Thereafter went to Bhuvaneswar and met the LP & ALP of the affected trains who were on treatment and GS conveyed his best wishes of speedy recovery to them. Had a visit to Rail Sadan the HQ of ECoR and met GM/ECoR Shri. Manoj Sharma who extended a warm welcome to GS Com.Venu P Nair & his team, shared his best efforts to deal with the crisis created by the accident and appreciated the unparalleled gesture of empathy and solidarity shown by the GS & the union towards the victims and the incident. Thereafter met PCPO/ECoR Shri. Mandal and shared mutual compliments. GS suggested GM & PCPO to render all possible assistance and help to the employees who are injured in the accident deservingly similar to the affected passengers and others.Thus the decision of General Secretary Com.Venu P Nair to have a timely visit to the accident site in Orissa has gained unbound appreciation from the workers of SER & ECoR as well as the higher officials of the administration.
