THE CELEBRATION EVENT OF THE 50TH YEAR OF 1974 RAILWAY STRIKE CONLCUDED WITH A BANG IN MUMBAI ON 28.05.2024 BY NRMU(CR/KR) UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF GS COM. VENU P NAIR.

Today on dt.29/5/24 the Working Committee Meeting of NRMU was held at Dadar Institute Hall from 11 am to 2 pm.The meeting began with a 2 minutes silence for Obituary. The Dadar Institute Comrades Com.Chetan & Com.Vinay Sawant welcomed President, GS, all the HQ & all the Div Comrades who had come to the WCM Meeting. Com.Kamakshi President, welcomed all the WCM’s for the meeting & also praised our GS for all the efforts taken for building up the Strength of the Union & also for his tireless work for the Railwaymen.Later our GS Nrmu, Com.Venu P Nair addressed the WCM members. He thanked the Mumbai Division Comrades for making the Golden Jubilee Program of Historical Railway Strike of 1974 a memorable one. He reminded about the speech rendered by Com.Harbajan Sidhu at the CSMT Auditorium was indeed an inspiration to the Youths present in the meeting.Our GS also reminded the Comrades to be prepared for the ECC SOCY Election to be held on 26/5/24, Membership Target of 70%, NRMU Unity with SC/ST Association, Awaaz Magazine to be subscribed & given to most of our active members, Felicitated the NRMU Cultural team & also reminded our Comrades to get in touch with our field workers for building up a strong Union which is one & only NRMU.The meeting ended up at 2pm with a Grand Lunch given to all by Com.Jairam Patil, WCM who is retiring this 31/5/24.
